Get your puppy’s first official training title!
AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is designed for all puppies (pure and mixed breeds) under 1 year old! It’s a great way to introduce your puppy to in-person training. .
STAR stands for Socialization, Training, Activity and a Responsible owner. In six weeks of STAR puppy classes, puppies and their owners learn the behaviors and skills they need to have a great start together.
We’ll answer all of your “new puppy” questions on things like housebreaking, feeding, chewing, etc.
How to make YOUR Puppy a S.T.A.R
You’ll need to attend our AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class for at least 6 weeks. At the end of the course, the instructor (who is an AKC CGC Approved Evaluator) will administer the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test. When your puppy passes the test, you’ll get an application to send to the AKC® for the certificate or title (includes certificate). You and your puppy will be listed in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy records. You’ll also get a really cool AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Medal and a beautiful certificate you can frame to show everyone that your puppy is a S.T.A.R!
